As if that wasn't enough, he has at least one awesome coworker - me! ;-) Folks, let's have a meetup soon over beer (and maybe food). Ideas and suggestions are welcome, but these come to mind: 1. Black Warrior Brewing - large taproom with an upstairs area (not sure what's up there; I've never ventured too far way from the bar), but it's large enough inside to accommodate a quite a few people. No food is available there, but plenty of places will deliver or carry-in is also allowed. - decent beer 2. Druid City Brewing - small - excellent beer - outside picnic tables if weather permits Others? -RW From dlanpheresr at yahoo.com Wed Mar 25 06:55:59 2015 From: dlanpheresr at yahoo.com (david lanphere) Date: Wed, 25 Mar 2015 06:55:59 +0000 (UTC) Subject: [Tuxaloosa] Hello World In-Reply-To: <20150325003431.2fee5ec7@liberty.rlwhome.lan> References: <20150325003431.2fee5ec7@liberty.rlwhome.lan> Message-ID: <570452082.509508.1427266559365.JavaMail.yahoo@mail.yahoo.com> This sounds interesting, but I am out of town for I don't know how long.? Given that this weekend will be one year since one of our original members (Cameron Purvis) left us, I'd like to get together as some sort of homage to him, if nothing else. So... let's do something around 2PM on Saturday at Druid City Brewing? I'm thinking more of a "meet, greet, and imbibe a bit" as opposed to a "play around with linux" session, given the short notice and such and since we don't all know each other at this point. However, I'd love to consider some more formal "howto" type sessions or some such in the future - that can be one of our discussion topics perhaps... To recap, I'll be at DCBC around 2PM on Saturday. If anyone else shows up, that's great; if not, that's okay too :-) -RW
