[Tuxaloosa] fileserver security?

A few pointers:
Do you know what IP (range) you will be connecting from? You can limit
outside access to your machine to a specific IP which limits attackers
options a lot.

Out of the box, Ubuntu does not have iptables enabled. You should change the
sshd config to not allow root logins and possibly lock down SSH to only
listening to specific IP addresses.
